For this project i explored conveying a feeling through costume, and attempted to evoke a reaction from both the viewer and performer. The piece i created is a visualisation of my fear of needles, of the contradiction of being tattooed and fearing the idea of needles on my skin. In this piece the needles emerge through the bones and burst from the body, with the skin textured with goosebumps and caving in on itself.
